MONSOON WEDDING
This is the story of a hurricane. The day before was beautiful and the day after
glorious, but the night of Taryn and Oliver's outdoor wedding, there was a
full-blown hurricane.
BACKYARD
LUNCH
This past weekend, we went to check out our friend Tom and Allie's
new house and were treated to a barbeque lunch in their garden.
There's something that feels so right about picking
an apple from its tree or a pumpkin from its patch.
Every weekend from now through Labor Day is booked
solid. Fall clothes are already hitting stores. Just as summer really
begins, it feels like it's almost over.
I don't need much for August-just a wear-every-weekend
wardrobe that can be easily packed into a beach tote and some fun finds
for entertaining outdoors.
Lately, I have been paying more attention to the
common things I use in everyday life. Not just how they look, but how
they feel.
The Spring and Fall 2008 runways were
abloom with floral prints. No shrinking violets here--the modern way
to do florals is to go for the bold and unexpected.
